- Judges must investigate a case thoroughly, and extinguish all reasonable sources of information, before deciding on the facts of the case
- Where an individual necessary in the investigation of a case fails to appear before a court, warrants may be issued for their apprehension
- The scale of warrant differs by court:
- The General Tribunal and the High Court may only issue a Federal warrant, as defined by 4/3.2 RFC
- The Appeal Court may issue Federal or galactic warrants, as defined by 4/3.2 RFC
- The Judicial Committee of the Supreme Council may issue Federal, galactic, or intergalactic warrants, as defined by 4/3.2 RFC
